Lotto – Rules

1. The operation of the Lotto will be based on the selection of four numbers from the numbers 1 to 26, inclusive.
2. The cost for each play/entry (i.e. one selection of four numbers) is € 2.
3. Anyone who matches all four numbers drawn will win or share the jackpot prize only. If there is more than one winner the jackpot will be divided equally. Match 3 correct numbers to win or share in € 200.
4. Persons under 18 years of age are not eligible to participate.
5. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that the ticket stub/entry is fully and properly completed.
6. All entries must be returned to the Lotto Committee before 11 p.m. on the night of the draw, and in this regard it is the sole responsibility of the participant to ensure that his/her entry is properly submitted in time.
7. The weekly draw will take place each Thursday night or such other night as may be decided by the Committee, at 11.00 p.m. or later, at a location to be decided by the Lotto Committee. Any entries submitted late will be entered in the draw for the following week.
8. The jackpot will commence at €2,000. In the event of there being no winner a sum of €200 (minimum) will be added to the jackpot until it is won or reaches a limit imposed by the Lotto Committee. After the jackpot has been won, the jackpot amount reverts to €2,000. The Lotto Committee reserves the right to increase the jackpot limit, but not to decrease it.
9. The committee have the right to introduce special draws for additional prizes.
10. Improperly marked tickets may be deemed void by the Committee before the draw.
11. he details of all void tickets will be recorded before the draw. All valid ticket stubs and envelopes will be stamped with the date, and will also be number stamped sequentially. Only tickets thus stamped will be considered eligible for the draw.
12. The jackpot prize will be paid out two weeks after the draw has taken place.
13. All stubs will be kept for two weeks so as to enable claimants to inspect their stub.
14. The decision of the Lotto Committee shall be binding on all matters relating to the draw, and the said Committee may add to or amend the rules herein from time to time as they shall deem necessary for the proper conduct of the draw.
15. Annual Subscription Scheme
16. The subscription is €16 per month by direct debit, or €192 paid in advance to cover a twelve-month period.
17. Each subscriber will be registered and will be allocated a unique registration number. All paid up registered members have 2 choices of 4 numbers in each weekly draw.
18. Your original number selection will be kept on file. If you want to change your selection of numbers, you will have to complete a new form.
19. Only fully paid up subscribers will be eligible for inclusion in the draw.
20. There will be a minimum of 48 draws per year.
