The Club is entering the Kelloggs Field of Dreams Competition and we need 900 tokens from participating Kelloggs cereals. We are asking all club members and friends to collect these tokens and forward to any club official. Castleknock Hurling & Football Club have announced the dates of our Summer Camps for 2010. The dates are: July 12th to July 16th and August 16th to August 20th The Camps are designed to ensure that all participants are kept busy learning and improving their skills of Hurling & Gaelic Football in an enjoyable and friendly environment. Hard Luck to the Dublin U14 girls who lost out by the narrowest of margins in the All Ireland Final against Galway particularly the Castleknock crew, mentors Gary Morrissey & Terry Mullins and players Leah Mullins, Megan Morrissey and Emma BoyleCongratulations to Leah Mullins who is the Gazette Group "Sports Star of the Month" for May.
Two great wins by our adult hurling teams this week. Well Done lads and keep up the great work. Many thanks to Carlow Town Hurling Club for hosting our U12 hurlers at their very enjoyable blitz at the weekend. Well done to the Dublin senior Footballers and Best Wishes to the Dublin Hurlers against Kilkenny. Best wishes to all our members and their families involved in the Junior & Leaving Cert exams. .

Notes 31st - 4th June
Congrats to our under 11 hurlers who won their hurling Cup Final on Saturday. Well done to all involved.
Two great league wins for our adult A footballers during the week over St. Marys and Wanderers. Adult B's also had a great win over St Marys in the League.

Club Notes 24th -28th
Castleknock GAA have announced the dates of our Summer Camps for 2010.

A good week for our adult hurlers with the 'A's beating Clontarf and drawing with Scoil ui Chonaill. The 'B's beat Realt Dearg and drew with Mearnog. Our 'A' footballers beat St Brigids in the League and booked a place in the Joy Cup semi final after victory over Naomh Oalf.
Well done to our U12 girls who had a great victory, with a goal to spare over Ballyboden.
Best of luck to our U11 hurlers who play their hurling cup final this Sat in Russell Park.

Dublin retained the U-14 Ladies football Lenister title in Clane Sunday 23rd.The final score was Dublin 6 -11 to Kildare 2 -5 The castleknock interest....The assitant manager /trainers were Gary Morrissey and Terry Mullins. Leah Mullins at full forward scored 4- 5 and was voted player of the match. Also on the panel are Megan Morrissey and Emma Boyle.

17th-21st May
Congrats to our Girls & Boys Camogie and Hurling Féile teams who both reached the Féile Final with the Girls being victorious over Oliver Plunketts and the Boys narrowly losing out to Thomas Davis.
The Club are extremely proud and thankful for the amazing effort and commitment from all our Feile players, mentors and supporters. Well done to all. Many thanks to St Maurs, Cuala, St Brigids for their féile hospitality.
Well done also to our U11 hurlers who won their cup semi-final against Lucan. A great inter school Gaelic Football blitz was help in CCC with 5 local schools participating. Many thanks to all the teachers, the players and to Club Coach Brendan Phelan for making this blitz such a success.

10th-15th May Adult Championship Football fixtures this week are the 'A's in Championship Qtr Final v St Judes in Porterstown at 7.15 on Tues while the adult 'B's are against Wild Geese in Oldtown at 7.15 on Thurs. All support appreciated. Adult A & B hurlers were both narrowly beaten in Championship last week. A's by Kilmacud and B's by Good Counsel. Minor footballers went down by 2pts against Kilmacud. Hard luck to our under 16 footballers who were beaten in their Championship semi final. Best wishes to our under11 hurlers in their cup semi final this Sat v Lucan. Many thanks to all who attended, supported and organised a very enjoyable Dinner Dance on Friday night. Also many thanks to Colette McMahon, Finbar Brady and Pearse Tolan for organising a very enjoyable Lá na gClub afternoon of music, song & dance in the Castleknock Hotel. Thanks also to all the musicians, singers and dancers who participated and who entertained us all. Well done to Brendan Phelan and all the kids and parents who participated in the Lá na gClub football and hurling blitz. It was a great example of the club providing great enjoyment for so many in the community.

4th-8th May
Congrats to our two boys football féile teams on reaching the semi final stages of the Div 1 & Div 6 féile. The club is very proud of the efforts and commitment from all involved with the squad.
‘A’ Hurlers lost out to Cula in their first Championship game but the 'B' hurlers had a one point victory over Naomh Mearnog. Both teams are again in C'ship action this week with 'A's away to Kilmacud on Wed @ 7 and the 'B's away to Good Counsel on Thurs. Minor
'A' footballers went down to Ballyboden and Minor 'B's had a great win over Fingallians.
Well done to all the Castleknock Crew who represented their county over the weekend. Congrats to Cian Mullins & Rob McCarthy and the Mullins & McCarthy families on the arrival of an All Ireland u21 football medal. Club Dinner Dance this Friday 7th May in the Castleknock Hotel. Lá na gClub is next Sun 9th May and is a celebration of the role of the club within the community. For Lá na gClub, we are hosting a fleadh cheoil of celebration in the Castleknock Hotel on Sunday 9th, for juveniles 5-7pm and for adults 7-9pm. All traditional musicians in the community are very welcome to come along and participate and there is an open invitation to all in the community to drop in and enjoy the day.
The club sends its condolences to the Rafferty & Eglington families on the recent death of Thomas Rafferty R.I.P..
